Print brief research and planning
1) Magazine cover key conventions I will be using for my print:

Photoshoot
1) One of my cast members will appear on the front cover, not sure which one out of the three.
2) At the moment I have planned for one image featuring on the contents page, which will be related to my crime drama. However, if I decide to go with having a few pictures I will take pictures in external locations where I have filmed which relate to my contents.
3) I'm planning to use one stunning image on one page and having my article on the other page, with a strip of pictures at the top from shooting behind the scenes.
4) Shots I will need:
- Masthead
- At least 5 cover lines
- Slogan
- Powerful central image
- House-style/colour scheme
- Target audience
2)

- I will be using this style of powerful central image and bold masthead.

- I could use the minimalist aesthetic, such as keeping to nude colours, because it will have many cover lines i don't want it to look crowded.

- Various cover lines, all different fonts and sizes.
- Contains smaller images at the bottom.

- Contains many cover lines
- One stunning image

- Talks about what it contains on the inside, so I can make up cover lines.
3)

- They have used a mix of word and pictures for their contents.
- Page numbers are in bold and varied size.
- Used columns.
- Organised- colour scheme.

- Their feature is more dominant.
- Used images.

- Used one powerful central image.
- House-style.
- Colour-scheme.
- Organised/linear layout.
4)

- Used one powerful image and one smaller image which is linked to the feature.
- Columns are used for the text
- I want mine to be linear and simple, but have the house-style.

- Contains many smaller images- I would use this as we need at least 7 images so will come in handy.
- Organised and columned text.

- House-style/colour scheme
- One stunning image
- Bold font title
5) Reading.
